Great public success for the first Metaverse Festival in Italy , which saw the participation of over 250,000 unique users. The event, organized by the National Association of Young Innovators (ANGI), took place in the Cathedral of the OGR — Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Turin.

The event also presented a preview of the opinion poll “Youth and innovation in the metaverse scenario”, by Prof. Roberto Baldassari , General Manager Lab21.01 and Director of the ANGI Scientific Committee. The polling institute Lab21.01 carried out a research by interviewing a sample of Italian adults by carrying out 1,200 interviews — by telephone and via the web — to analyze the relationship between Italians and the metaverse.

“ The overall look of the research highlights how there are strong generational differences between the interviewees: under 35 and over 55 seem even more distant in the metaverse, “ explained Professor Baldassari.

The Piedmontese capital therefore served as the stage for an event that saw the interventions of the major players of the current technological ecosystem who — through keynote speach, round table and networking moments — were able to share their personal and professional experiences, in order to find effective solutions in the technological field and offer new opportunities to young talents.

“ Innovation and people are the enabling factors of the ten-year industrial plan that the FS Italiane Group is carrying out. A plan that envisages the hiring of 40,000 people over the next few years. It will therefore be essential to invest in an increasingly widespread and continuous training because the technological change we are making will correspond to a new way of working, “declared Anna Maria Morrone , Head of Organization & People Development at Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane.
